OUR PARTNERSHIP
It is important to note that I am an Independent Business Owner and not an employee of you and/or your company. This is a business to business relationship. I pay my own taxes, provide my own benefits and work from my own office during set working hours, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
All discussions, consultations, paperwork, negotiations, passwords, trade secrets, client information, and personal information are kept in confidence. Please be assured that any business, client, or personal information provided to I Assist, will not be disclosed to any third party, unless by written instruction from you.
BUSINESS HOURS
I Assist business hours are normally Monday – Friday, from 9am – 6pm. The office is closed on all major US holidays. You will be informed via email if there is another day that I will not be available for any reason.
NOTE: I do not check my email on Saturday or Sunday. If you send an email during my off hours, I will respond to your message as soon as I am able, which may not be until the next business day.

HOW WE DO BUSINESS
- Once the decision to utilize the services of I Assist has been made, a Pre-Hire Estimate will be produced for each order. This Pre-Hire Estimate will include not only the Job Specification(s), but also the Charge for Services.
- The Pre-Hire Estimate must be reviewed, agreed to and signed by the client (or client’s authorized representative), before a Contract will be produced, (this is done to ensure that we are clear as to what you are requiring of us).
- Once a Contract is created, it will be sent for your review and signature along with our Non-Disclosure Agreement and our Client Intake Form. All forms must be returned prior to the commencement of business/work.
- Should the job specifications change at any time after the Contract has been signed, an Amendment to the Contract will be prepared and will have to be agreed upon before the new work can begin.
FILE SUBMISSION
Electronic documents (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, pdf, images, etc.) can be received via email, CD, Google Drive, Dropbox, or other electronic online service both parties agree upon. Handwritten documents can be mailed, or scanned and emailed. Completed work will be emailed to you and will be ready for printing, saving, and editing.
I Assist employs incoming e-mail Virus protection but we will not open any attachments that we are not expecting. All out-going emails are virus checked but the scanning of all materials received from I Assist is the responsibility of the client.
TURNAROUND TIME & DELIVERY OF WORK
The amount of time required to complete a task will depend on the work requested and current workload. Once I receive all of the details for the project(s), I will send you an estimate of how much time is required.
Completed work is generally delivered by email; however, alternative methods can be discussed at the completion of the project.
All work originating from the client will be returned to the client within Forty-Eight (48) business hours of completion of the work. All work produced by I Assist will be retained on our system for 60 days or as agreed.
URGENT PROJECTS
Any time you request a work to be completed in less than 24 hours, it will be considered urgent work. I will let you know at the time of your request if this is considered urgent work.
I cannot guarantee that I can complete your urgent work, but, will do my best. If I can complete your urgent work, you will be billed an urgent work fee., that is equal to a 25% surcharge to your total cost.
Monthly Clients: if you purchased a Monthly contract, billable hours will be deducted from your contracted hours and your urgent work fee will be billed on your next invoice.
NOTE: I do not check my email on Saturday or Sunday. If you request an Urgent Project, I will respond to your message as soon as I am able, the next business day. At that time, I will let you know if I can complete the project or not.
REFUNDS
Refunds will be given within twenty-four (24) hours of receipt of work, as long as work on the project has not commenced. For our Monthly accounts, a credit may be given, at my discretion.
All refunds will be processed in the manner in which it was received. If paid by Cashier’s or Business Check, refund will be issued via a check from our Parent Company – WSPG Management.
All checks will expire 120 days after the issue date. If a new check is requested, a fee of $35.00 will apply and will be deducted from the reissued check.
REFERRALS
The greatest advertisement we could have is for our current/former clients to refer us/our services to your friends, family, and/or associates. Visit our webpage that provides you additional details on our Referral Program.
DISCLAIMER
While every effort is made to ensure accuracy before delivery, final proof-reading, and checking of all completed work remains the responsibility of the client. Any errors made by I Assist, will be corrected by I Assist. Any extra work for corrections on the part of the client, will be charged at the agreed hourly rate, (for Hourly clients) or deducted from your monthly hours (Monthly contracts).
At any time you may choose for me to outsource proof reading to another virtual assistant, but please note that this will incur an additional charge. If you ever choose this option, please let me know and I will contact you with details.
Once the project has been accepted by you, I Assist is not responsible for any errors found thereafter. If any additional requirements are requested, these will be charged to the client.
